Generously and boldly beautiful photographs of the artwork abound--almost as good as being there in the National Gallery of Art-almost. The weight and quality of the paper used and the binding make this a wonderful book to be treasured for ages. The joy of inhaling the fragrance of the ink and reading about the works of art and seeing each sculpture, painting, drawing illustrated in this wonderful book of Verrochio treasures is a great gift.
